curimin

Curimin (real name Luciano Nakata Albuquerque) is a Brazilian artist of Spanish and Japanese ancestry.  His mixed background earned him his name, which is often used in Brazil as a moniker for children of mixed backgrounds.  Curimin is a brilliant percussionist who mixes Brazilian music (especially Samba) with Funk and DJ sets.

My Latino Voice caught up with Curimin over the phone while on tour across the U.S.
