Funny lady Kiki Melendez is taking her multi-cultural comedy show "Hot Tamales Live" to Showtime. And although there's no official air-date (fingers crossed) if the 90-minute special is as funny as this trailer, she has little to be worried about.
This is one of the few shows that showcases women comics of various backgrounds, cultures, and sexual orientations. Her motto: "I've created a unity of races through laughter."

A little about Kiki: For those who don't know, Kiki Melendez is a pioneer Latina entertainer in Hollywood. She owns her own production company Latin Hollywood Films (LHF) and she's written several plays and film screenplays in addition to her acting roles. The former morning radio host also created the first bilingual variety show Kiki Desde Hollywood and she also helped launch the career of a young star you may have heard of: Eva Longoria-Parker.
Bobby Sanabria the son of Puerto Rican parents, was born and raised in the "Fort Apache" section of New York City's South Bronx.
Drummer, percussionist, composer, arranger, recording artist, producer, filmmaker, conductor, educator, multi-cultural warrior and multiple Grammy nominee – Sanabria has performed with a veritable Who's Who in the world of jazz and Latin music, as well as with his own critically acclaimed ensembles.
